Week 9 Large

I have had no time for this weeks photo challenge, so I submitted this photo taken last summer.  This weeks theme is "large" and I think this is a great interpretation of "large."
Oh, how I'm longing for to see green grass and trees.  :)

Week 8 White

I had no time this week to capture "white" so I decided to post this photo of Olivia in white.  This is one of my favorite photos of my girl.  This was taken last November.

Week 7 Fear

I had a really hard time trying to think of something for this weeks theme.....Fear.

I tried to think of all the things I'm fearful of and "time" is what I decided is my biggest fear.  Not just, time, but running out of time.

This isn't a quality photo, but it represents my take on "fear"

Week 5 Signs

This weeks assignment was "sign"  I knew exactly what I photograph.  I see these signs by my house on a daily basis and they always make me laugh!  Someone in my community has a great sense of humor. 

Week 4 Colorful

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for colorful this week.  Then I decided to take a photo of Olivia's painting from a few years ago.  It hangs right outside my office and I love it.

Week 3 Control

This week's topic is "control."

I was super intimidated by this, what in the world could I photograph to represent control?

Of course, I thought of the many controls in my house, the TV, the DVR, the Wii, etc.

I then thought of what controls people? What are things that control our world?

Then it clicked.... oil and gas! I would have loved to have taken a photo of an oil rig, but there's none close to me. I decided a gas pump would be the next best thing.

I'm not at all political, but I feel like when it comes to control, this says it best.

And yes, I got lots of questions from people at the gas station, wondering why I was taking photos of the gas pumps.

I did a little "tweaking" in picnik....not sure if I like it or not?
